Rama Afullo

Founder & CEO at Satlyt - AirBnB for space compute | ex SpaceX, Google, Tesla

Rama Afullo is the Founder and CEO of Satlyt, a company focused on creating fast and secure edge computing in space. Before this, he was a Product Manager at SpaceX’s Starlink, where he played a key role in scaling satellite internet globally. Rama also held significant positions at Google, where he managed global investor programs for startups and AI and led business development for Google Space. His earlier career includes roles at Tesla, where he was among the first employees in Africa, and as a founder of multiple startups. He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and has furthered his education in space systems engineering.

Gatwĩri Njogu-Mokaya

Gatwiri is the CEO and Co-Founder of VunaPay, a fintech company accelerating payments to smallholder farmers across Africa. Under her leadership since January 2023, VunaPay has aimed to transform the agricultural sector, which accounts for 30% of Africa’s GDP, by empowering smallholder farmers who produce 80% of the continent’s agricultural output.

In addition to her role at VunaPay, Gatwiri serves as a Co-Founder of SIDAI Concrete Limited, applying technology to revolutionize ready-mix concrete production. She is also an entrepreneur within Antler’s Startup Accelerator Program, where she began her techpreneurship journey in early 2023.

Previously, Gatwiri held various leadership positions at Oracle, including Director of Business Development for CX Africa and Director of Industry Strategy & Transformation for the public sector, education, and healthcare across Africa, where she excelled in sales and business development, consistently surpassing targets.

Her work is focused on driving impact across agriculture, technology, and business development to foster sustainable economic growth across Africa.

Additionally, Jermaine co-founded Fanfair, a sports-technology studio, and has experience in Global Digital Acquisition at American Express, where he worked on digital marketing and product development.
